What is your typical day like? I take care of patients during surgery, as well as assist the surgeon's needs. I transport patients to the intensive care unit (ICU), then get ready for the next surgery. I am the patient's advocate. Please describe your job in the military. I was in 2/2 Fox Company infantry unit. My job duties concerned all things related to combat from weapon systems, tactics in war, as well as the logistics required to get the job done. Why did you choose this career path? My mother was a nurse, I was intrigued by the combat-related medical training in the military, and I enjoy doing something that has meaning and purpose. I save lives on a daily basis. Though it is exhausting, it is very rewarding. Not to mention job stability.
