So he promised her that it would look nice and that he would keep it soft, and she acquiesced. At the same time, Moyer WHILE MANY ENTREPRENEURS have long aspired to launch their own companies, Charlie Moyer had a different kind of dream: to grow a beautiful beard. After serving in the Coast Guard for 10 years (he enlisted on his 17th birthday), Moyer was preparing for his discharge. While working toward a degree in emergency management and homeland security, Moyer was also on terminal leave due to a severe ankle injury, waiting for a medical discharge. And he was positively itching to grow a beard. So, like all good husbands, Moyer appealed to his wife – sort of. "I told her, 'I'm going to grow out my beard after I get out.
